Wendy's Just Launched an Adorable Halloween Meal For Children

With Halloween approaching, restaurant chains are beginning to celebrate the scary season with special themed menus, and Wendy’s is no exception. This Monday, the fast-food behemoth announced the release of its new Frosty Frights Kids Meal to start off what they’re calling “HalloWEENDY’s Season.” Wendy’s fans can also get excited about seasonal, limited-edition souvenirs in addition to their favorite dishes.

The kids’ meal includes four-piece chicken nuggets (180 calories), a hamburger (250 calories), or a cheeseburger (290 calories), Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries (210 calories) or Apple Bites (35 calories), and a drink. But what about the actual Halloween magic? The meal includes a Frosty Frights toy, which makes it much more enjoyable for the kids.

Wendy’s has introduced 11 new Frosty Frights figures for both toy collectors and children. Some of the seasonal additions are Franken Frosty, Frosty Bite, Coolie Ghoulie, Brrr Beast, Cold Spell, and Junior. These Halloween-themed characters will be available until November 3, allowing fans plenty of time to collect them all. It’s a fun, family-friendly way for consumers to celebrate Halloween while eating their favorite Wendy’s meals. After all, what’s a kids’ dinner without a collector item to take home?

Wendy’s hasn’t stopped spreading Halloween happiness. Along with the Frosty Frights toys, the business has reintroduced its beloved Boo! books. These $1 booklets include coupons for five free Jr. Frosty treats and a sixth coupon for a $1.99 kids meal with any purchase. Beyond providing a great value, Wendy’s is also giving back, with 90 cents of every $1 book sold going to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The charity seeks to find permanent homes for children in foster care throughout the United States and Canada, which adds a personal touch to this Halloween marketing.

The Boo! Books, which are available until November 3, may be purchased in-store, via drive-thrus, or via Wendy’s online purchasing platforms. It’s a terrific opportunity for consumers to “give something back” while enjoying a few Frosties and spreading holiday cheer.

As an extra benefit, the vouchers are valid until December 31, making them a present that lasts long beyond Halloween.

Wendy’s isn’t only concentrating on Halloween-themed food. The restaurant just brought back its popular vanilla Frosty, replacing the Triple Berry Frosty that debuted during the summer. Fans of the classic vanilla treat may now enjoy it alongside the new holiday choices.

Furthermore, there are suspicions that a SpongeBob Squarepants-themed Krabby Patty Meal will be released in October to commemorate the popular cartoon series’ 25th anniversary. Although nothing formal has been released, fans are excited for the introduction of this meal, which is said to feature a unique “Krabby Patty” Wendy’s cheeseburger, fries, and a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty.
