I tried the new Starbucks Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, and I should apologize to anyone who are fans of the PSL, but this beverage is much more delicious.
Starbucks is here for everybody who is always trying to recreate the sensation of autumn during the Friends period on a regular basis. To tell you the truth, the legendary Pumpkin Spice Latte has become more of a treat for the month of August, and we wanted a drink that was appropriate for the genuine fall temperature. It appears that Starbucks is in agreement, since the company has introduced a brand-new beverage for the autumn season: the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte.
Taking the lid off of my coffee before I take a taste is something I do on a regular basis (sorry to all of my white sweaters), and I am so happy that I did so when I tried out this beverage. The aroma of roasted nuts and butter that had been browned was sufficient to call up a significant amount of sentimental longing.
Imagine for a moment that your mother has just popped in your VHS copy of Hocus Pocus, that you are wrapping yourself in a crewneck, and that a large red Yankee Candle is glowing on the mantel.
Even before I took my first drink, I had already decided that I would enjoy this coffee on a daily basis until Thanksgiving.
What’s in the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte?
A handmade pecan pie in a cup, this latte is exactly what you need. In order to create the hot beverage, blonde espresso, creamy oat milk, and undertones of browned butter and nutty pecan are used in the brewing process. There is nothing particularly spectacular about blonde espresso; it is simply ordinary espresso that has been roasted to a lighter level.
Because of this, the shot that is produced is one that is somewhat less bitter than a standard shot of espresso. This delicious latte, which is rounded off with a sprinkle of pecan crunch topping, is the ideal beverage to celebrate this occasion.
The iced form of this beverage is called an Iced Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, and it is available as separate beverages. With the exception of the luscious layer of salted pecan cream cold foam that may be found on top, it is quite similar. In order to have a sweet and salty delight, you can request this cold foam to be added to any iced coffee.
Do you think the Pecan Crunch drinks are tasty?
Although I am aware that some people believe that there is an excessive amount of hoopla around pumpkin spice everything, I am a fan of the PSL. On the other hand, I thought the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte was even more delicious than the other. As someone who likes their coffee to have a flavor that is reminiscent of coffee, I discovered that the Pecan Crunch had the ideal proportions of syrup, espresso, and oat milk.
An advantage was that I did not have to make a request for a switch from whole milk to oat milk, which is my favorite nondairy milk. Oat milk, in my experience, makes lattes more creamier, and this particular one was no exception to that rule.
The combination of the Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam and the Iced Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte was the epitome of pecan perfection, being both sweet and nutty. In spite of the fact that it was iced, this beverage nonetheless managed to make me feel just at home. During the early fall, when all I want is a cool breeze, but the sun has different intentions, I will most certainly choose this option during that time.
Nevertheless, the next time I place an order for the Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam, I will ask for it to be served with a standard cold brew. It’s just that I don’t believe I’ll be able to say Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam as an Iced Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte without having to take a breath, and I don’t want to make a fool of myself in front of the barista.
These two nut-based beverages, the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte and the Salted Pecan Cream Cold Foam, are two warm and comforting additions to the menu that you are going to have to try if you are a fan of the Pistachio Latte and the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew. Beginning on September 19, both beverages will be available on the autumn menu stocked at Starbucks.
