Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable grease
  • One huge egg.
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup white sweetener
  • Two tsp baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salted food
  • ¾ cup little semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¹ ½ tablespoon white sugar
  • One spoonful of brown sugar

Directions

Step 1

Accumulate all of the components. Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). You may either grease a muffin tray with 12 cups or line the cups with paper liners.

Step 2

Mix the milk, oil, and egg together in a small bowl until they are thoroughly combined.

Step 3

Put the flour, half a cup of sugar, and baking powder, and salt into a big basin and mix them all together. In the midst of the mixture, make a well for the ingredients.

Step 4

After the milk mixture has been added to the well, whisk it until the batter is nearly entirely combined, and then fold in the chocolate chips while continuing to whisk.

Step 5

As soon as the muffin cups have been prepped, pour batter into each of them until it reaches a level that is two-thirds full.

Step 6

Using a small dish, combine 1 ½ teaspoons of white sugar and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Then, sprinkle the mixture on the tops of the muffins.

Step 7

After approximately 18 to 20 minutes in an oven that has been preheated, the tops should be able to bounce back when softly touched.

Step 8

After gently cooling in the tin, transfer the baked goods to a wire rack. To serve, either warm or entirely cool.
