Chick-fil-A Opening 25+ New Restaurant's—Here's Where

Throughout the year 2024, chicken franchises of varying sizes and specializations have been making headlines with their ambitious development plans, and Chick-fil-A has been at the forefront of this movement. This year, the well-known fast-food company made an announcement on a big growth strategy, with a special emphasis on the state of Michigan.

It is anticipated that Chick-fil-A would open between 25 and 30 new locations that are locally owned and run across the state of Michigan by the end of the year 2028. As a result of this development, the chain’s footprint in the state, where it presently has 28 stores, would virtually double. 2015 was the year that saw the opening of the very first Chick-fil-A restaurant in the state of Michigan, which marked the beginning of what has become a fast expanding footprint in the American Midwest.

Soon, Chick-fil-A intends to open four more locations in the Detroit/Ann Arbor region during the autumn and winter months. These restaurants will be located in the foreseeable future. There are plans to open additional restaurants in the following cities: Detroit, Auburn Hills, Lincoln Park, Orion Township, Clinton Township, Canton, and Ann Arbor. These new sites will be dispersed among Chesterfield Township, Roseville, Taylor, and Fort Gratiot.

The First National Building is also going to be the location of a licensed Chick-fil-A restaurant that is about to open. When looking ahead to the year 2025, the business plans to open two new locations in the Lansing/Jackson area, one in the Flint-Saginaw area, and another in the Benton Harbor metropolitan area. It is anticipated that this major expansion would result in the creation of more than 2,500 job opportunities throughout the state.

During his presentation, Scott Mayson, who serves as the area director for the Midwest region of Chick-fil-A, underlined the value of the various communities in Michigan in the growth plan of the firm. In his presentation, he emphasized the fact that the choice to expand the company’s presence in the state of Michigan was influenced by the state’s unique combination of rural, suburban, and urban districts. It was pointed out by Mayson that this expansion is not just a strategic decision to serve a greater number of visitors, but it is also a commitment to assisting local communities and fostering economic growth.

Chick-fil-A, which today runs over 3,000 locations throughout 48 states, Washington, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada, has been actively expanding its reach through a number of different strategies. A total of 141 new sites were launched by the company in 2023, and it is now on target to add 157 franchised units in the United States alone this year.

In addition, the firm has lofty goals of opening at least fifteen additional restaurants in Puerto Rico and as many as twenty new sites in Alberta, Canada, by the year 2030. There are new restaurants that have opened in recent times in Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Loveland, Colorado; Dallas, Texas; and Newington, New Hampshire. Additionally, a new site is scheduled to open in the Bronx, New York City, on September 12th.

Chick-fil-A has also been doing a lot of work to improve the menu options it provides. A spicy version of the chain’s Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich was published not too long ago. This particular sandwich is comprised of a spicy chicken fillet, mild pickled jalapeños, pimento cheese, and a honey drizzle, all of which are served on a toasted bun.

Additionally, the Banana Pudding Milkshake, which has been unavailable for the past thirteen years, has made a reappearance, and a new Banana Frosted Coffee version has also been introduced. These new menu items will be available across the country until November 16 or while supplies last, adding to the variety of fan-favorite choices that Chick-fil-A has to offer.
